Other places and pages - on line support
This is basically the stuff that doesn't
fit anywhere else on these pages. Actually, most of it are the
sites I visit most often. Here you can find links to message
boards and chat rooms, a good place to meet other survivors and
share what you are going through. And I can't recommend Sanctuary
highly enough.
- The
SANCTUARY - a wonderful
safe MUD for survivors. Look out for me there, as Inanna,
Nan, or Lilnannas, depending on how old I'm feeling and who's
running the show. (For more of an explanation of this,
see here)
-
- Connect to Sanctuary(if your browser has telnet application)
-
- Abuse-Related Political Action From The
Survivors' Voice
-
- The Survivor's Page - Lots of good writing by survivors here
-
- The Hope Newsletter is created by and for survivors.
-
- The Wounded Healer
-
- Tranformations
- a forum for self help and recovery.
-
- The Survivors Forum - a message board posting place. Seems safe
and friendly to me.
-
- Free To Be
whoever you want to be. A Wall to write on.
-
- I strongly recommend counselling to
help you get through. I don't know what the net service
provided by Concerned Counselling is like, but I do think that their Chat Rooms
could be a good place to meet other survivors.
-
- Or else meet up with them on my irc
home, the Dalnet channel #survivors
-
- Andrew
Vachss' The Zero - you must
read his interview with Oprah on here. Anyone who
challenges Oprah on her issues like that gets my
approval. Very triggery in places.. read it in small bits
if you like (I did).
-
- SARK is on line!! A creative inspiration and
another survivor. Check out her book
publishers too.
-
- A
great page of living resources, extremely creative and inspirational.. not
surprising as the page itself was inspired by SARK
